Breakdown of US Congress By Occupation: Why Must Lawyers Dominate Our Government?

thomas-jefferson“If the present Congress errs in too much talking, how can it be otherwise in a body to which the people send one hundred and fifty lawyers, whose trade it is to question everything, yield nothing, and talk by the hour?”
- Thomas Jefferson

  1. George says:

He who profits from the law shouldn’t make the law.

  2. DC says:

The real problem isn’t that 45% of them are lawyers. It’s that 100% of them are politicians!
